Trio Olympia is a Trombone trio that was formed in 2017 with the ambition to spread joy and inspiration through a broad range of classical brass music. The repertoire includes everything from 16th century music to contemporary. Our members all have a background in classical music. Music has been and still is a great part of our lives.

Caroline Bäcklund: Tenor Trombone
Trombone, piano and song education at music school and private lessons in Västerås, courses at the institute of music at the University of Montreal. Winner of the Swedish National championships in wind music. Caroline works at the Stockholm Concert Hall introducing music to children. Member of the Home Guard Band of the Royal Marines (Södertörn). Also plays with different symphony orchestras on demand.
Jimmy Ebbesson: Bass Trombone. Band Leader
Educated at the Folk High School and Academy of Music in Piteå, and music studies in Berlin. Receiver of the Lions scholarship of music. Member of the Home Guard Band of the Royal Marines (Södertörn), Filialen Stockholm and the Royal Academic Orchestra of Uppsala. Jimmy also plays on commission.
Anders Goldman: Tenor Trombone
Bachelor of Music - Oderlin Conservatory, Ohio and Master of Music - University o Michigan. Special education as instrument maker in Elkhart, Indiana. Anders works as instrument maker specialized in brass instruments at Windcorp Stockholm. Member of the orchestra Filialen, Stockholm.
